What can I find in the Community Collections Usage Dashboard?
The Community Collections Usage Dashboard is a self-service dashboard that enables users with Admin-level permissions to track interest in and access of your institution's collections through custom reporting. Here, you can visualize the use of your institution's collection by individual item requests and time periods of access.

The following information and data visualizations are available in the collection dashboard:
- Item requests by Collection
- Dates of items accessed by all collections or by a specific collection (available in ranges of 30 days, 90 days, 6 months, and 12 months past)
- Top Items requested
- Top Countries requesting access
- Top Institutions requesting access
- Usage by access types from:
- other JSTOR institutions
- your institution
- "no institution" for publicly available collections.
Additionally, you can also find counts of the following information:
- Total requests
- Items accessed
- Countries accessing collection content
- Institution landing page views
Accessing Collections Usage Reporting
To access your Community Collection usage reporting:
- Log in to the Community Collections usage self-service dashboard
- Once logged in, you can view data for your institutional collections
- Use the drop-down menu to select the collection and/or date range you are interested in. Select from available collections and/or date-range.
- To download a PDF of your collections reporting, select the Download button
Note: the date drop-down menu offers four, predefined ranges (Past 30 or 90 Days, and Past 6 or 12 Months) At this time, these are the only date ranges selectable.
Who can create reports from the collection dashboard?
Access to usage reporting for Community Collections is available for participating institutional account Admins. This means you must be granted special permissions to view, create, and download this reporting.
