If you've previously published your collections to Artstor from Forum, there are a few differences to note when publishing to JSTOR. On this page, you'll find a comparison of features related to publishing between the two platforms and links to more information.
Publishing support options
As a reminder, the Artstor website will be retired on August 1, 2024.
You can use this chart and the resources on this site to publish your collections to JSTOR through self-service publishing. Our Support team will be here to answer your questions along the way.
In addition, now through December 31, 2023, we're also offering full-service publishing where we will map and publish your collections to JSTOR for you, based on the specifications you provide. If you're interested in taking advantage of this offer, please contact JSTOR Forum Support to learn more.

Containers and compilations can be used for hierarchical organization to group items into sub-collections (compilations) or works containing multiple items (containers) such as a periodical containing issues or articles. While manual sequencing is not supported, items in a container or compilation may be sorted by Title or Date on JSTOR. Compound objects can be used to relate and sequence multiple images related to the same metadata record. |
