You can upload content to your project from a cloud storage service (like Google Drive or Dropbox) if the storage service supports a file directory integration.
This allows you to add media to your project without having to use your local storage, which is especially useful in cases where your local workflow relies on cloud storage for collaborative file management.
Another workflow where pulling content from a cloud storage solution would be useful is one in which the work of uploading media in the Cataloging Tools falls to multiple people, or to one person who does not always work from the same machine.
Download and configure Drive File Stream here: https://support.google.com/drive/answer/7329379. Now, when you go to upload media in Forum, your Google Drive content will be accessible by browsing your file directory like any normal locally stored content.
Dropbox Desktop app: https://www.dropbox.com/help/desktop-web/download-dropbox
When you have installed the desktop app, a Dropbox folder will display within your file directory.
